To help people achieve this goal, Nippon Sport Science University has spent a long time studying and researching sports, from both a physical and aesthetic viewpoint. Whether a student wants to become an elite athlete or a top-class trainer, the university can provide a course of study that will meet their needs, in a learning environment that allows them to study at the forefront of sports technology.

Campus Information & Facilities

Nippon Sport Science University provides students with a world-class environment in which to study physical education and sports.
The Tokyo Setagaya Campus provides state-of-the-art facilities including 16 large and small gymnasiums, a large all-purpose playing field laid with artificial turf, and buildings that house the university's research facilities.
The Yokohama Kenshidai Campus has an area of approximately 170,000 square meters and provides various sports and educational facilities. Many of these facilities are used for public tournaments and other sporting events.

Clubs & Circles

Nippon Sport Science University is home to 75 clubs and circles.
These clubs and circles are an integral part of the university's world-class learning environment and provide students with encouragement and the incentive to train daily and contribute to the NSSU aura of invincibility.
The clubs and circles also help students learn vital life skills, such as cooperation, teamwork and leadership, as well as fostering a strong sense of responsibility.

Nippon Sport Science University has produced an outstanding number of Olympians and Olympic medalists. Our mission is to encourage and develop the culture of sports in Japan and take a leading role in supporting the Olympic movement as we look to use the power of sport to promote international peace and harmony.
