令和6年2月19日から22日にかけて、本学が受諾しているスポーツ庁委託研究スポーツ国際展開基盤形成事業のひとつとして、カンボジア・プノンペン市にてワークショップを実施しました。本学からはプロジェクトコーディネーターの宍戸雄特別研究員がワークショップの開催運営に携わり、プロジェクトリーダーの岡出美則教授(スポーツ文化学部スポーツ国際学科)とプロジェクトメンバーの寺岡英晋助教(スポーツ文化学部スポーツ国際学科)が専門家アドバイザーとして参加しました。本事業は、ASEAN諸国との持続的な開発と平和の実現にスポーツを通じて貢献する観点から、日・
ASEAN スポーツ大臣会合において合意された政府間の協力事項の実現に向けた取組を推進するものであり、令和 3 年度(2021)以降、ASEAN 諸国における体育教員の育成に資する事業の実施及び障がい者スポーツの発展に寄与する事業を継続的に実施しています。本ワークショップにはASEAN10ヵ国から2名ずつの政府機関並びに省庁担当者もしくは大学関係者がカウンターパートとして参加し、各国の政策設定に基づく体育教師教育と障がい者スポーツの促進に関する事業計画の共有と見直しが行われました。参加者同士の積極的な交流があり、本学としてもASEAN諸国における体育・スポーツに関わる政府機関及び大学関係者との連携・協力体制が強化されました。

In February 19th to 22th, 2024, a workshop held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, as one of the sports international development base formation projects commissioned by the Japan Sports Agency, which Nippon Sport Science University has accepted. From Nippon Sport Science University, the project coordinator, Research fellow Yu Shishido, was involved in organizing and managing the workshop, while the project leader, Professor Yoshinori Okade, Faculty of Sport Culture, Department of Sport and Studies for International Community & the project member, Assistant Professor Eishin Teraoka, Faculty of Sport Culture, Department of Sport and Studies for International Community, were participated as expert advisors. This project promotes efforts to realize the intergovernmental cooperation agreed upon at ASEAN Plus Japan Ministerial Meeting on Sports from the viewpoint of contributing to the realization of sustainable development and peace with ASEAN countries through sports. Since 2021, we have been implementing projects that contribute to the training of physical education teachers in ASEAN countries and the development of sports for the physically challenged on an ongoing basis. The workshop attended as two counterparts who were government agencies and person in charge of ministries or university representatives from each of the ten ASEAN countries. Project plans for physical education teacher education and promotion of sports for the disabled based on each country's policy setting shared and reviewed. The participants actively interacted with each other. We strengthened its ties and cooperation with government agencies and university representatives involved in physical education and sports in the ASEAN countries.
