ダイバーシティ推進の情報交換！ 流通経済大学・新松戸キャンパスを訪問しました（6/8）

本学では、2021年度に「ダイバーシティ検討プロジェクト」を発足、2023年度からは「ダイバーシティ＆インクルージョン(D&I)推進委員会」として発展し、さまざまな検討を進めております。その一環として、今年度より他大学との情報交換の場を設けることといたしました。
今回、D&I推進委員会メンバー5名は、6月8日（木）に流通経済大学・新松戸キャンパスを訪問し「ダイバーシティ共創センター（2022年4月開設）」の皆さまに、これまでの実績や今後の計画、さらには抱える課題等、大変貴重なお話を伺うことができました。
当センターは、ダイバーシティに関わる啓発や環境整備をはじめ「人材育成」という観点から、学生の皆さんが主体的に様々な活動に参加できるような取組みにも注力されています。また、上野裕一学長が掲げる“誰一人取り残さない”という目標に呼応する環境づくりに熱心に取組み、一人ひとりの多様性に対して柔軟かつ丁寧な対応を心がけていらっしゃる姿がとても印象的でした。
今後、本学のD&I推進に向けて、今回の学びを活かしていけるよう、引き続き努めて参ります。

We, NSSU, established the "NSSU Promoting Diversity Project" in 2021 and the project transformed as a committee called "Diversity & Inclusion Promotion Committee" in April 2023 and have been progressing various discussions. As a part of this, we have decided to create a platform for information exchange with other universities this year.
This time, five members of the D&I Promotion Committee visited the Ryutsu Keizai University's Shin-Matsudo Campus (Chiba) on June 8. We had the valuable opportunity to hear about the achievements, plans, and challenges faced by the members of the "The Center for Diversity and Collaboration" (established in April 2022).
The center focuses not only on raising awareness and creating an environment related to diversity but also on initiatives that enable students to actively participate in various activities from the perspective of "talent development." We were truly impressed by the passionate efforts made to create an environment that resonates with the goal set by President Yuichi Ueno of "leaving no one behind" and by their flexible and considerate approach towards individual diversities.
Moving forward, we will continue to make efforts to apply the knowledge gained from this experience to promote D&I at our university. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Ryutsu Keizai University for their cooperation.
