JICA Overseas Cooperation Volunteers

JICA Overseas Cooperation Volunteers

This program is operated by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and financed by the government of Japan’s official development assistance (ODA) budget. It entails fielding requests from developing countries, recruiting candidates that possess the technical skills, knowledge, and experience needed to meet those requirements, along with a willingness to put their talents to use for the people of those developing countries, and screening, training, and dispatching them.
NSSU is involved in this program not only to promote and advance physical education and sports in the developing countries but also to train its participating students to become competent in the field of international cooperation, by effectively utilizing the collective knowledge and insights that are available at NSSU.
The International Center also provides support to any students that are intent on participating in this program to prepare for their interviews, etc.
