Environment where first-class art is on full display
Sport, in a way, is a pursuit of beauty.
In this vein, it is NSSU management’s sincere hope that all students involved in their chosen sporting endeavors would sharpen their sensitivity, expand their imaginative capacity, and cultivate an aesthetic sensibility that is sublime.
For this purpose, there are numerous pieces of art installed throughout the NSSU campuses, including seven large bronze statues created by some of the most notable Japanese sculptors, sculptures, paintings, tapestries, and other fine art works.
